The Ranelagh General Store or RGS is not your usual general store. Don\u2019t be fooled by its name, this caf\u00E9 and store offers a distinctive, locally sourced, fresh, innovative menu specialising in unique burgers, all-day breakfast and lunch options. Great coffee, friendly service and house baked treats ensure your visit ends on a high note. More recently, the team have added chic dinner options three nights a week. Set in a deco shopfront the store has served the community since the late 1940s. The current owners Tim Ditcham and Peisha McHeyzer lovingly renovated the store in 2015 with a recycled/upcycled fitout that pays tribute to the heritage of the local area. Open 7 days a week for breakfast and lunch with dinner from 5pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Bookings are recommended and groups are welcome. There is also a kids menu for the little ones. RGS is BYO for bottled wine, beer and cider. Check social media for seasonal changes to trading hours.
